How does PayPal work?
Here are the steps for making your purchase:
- Press the PayPal button.
- Sign in to PayPal and make your purchase.
- Return back to this Flowplayer website from the link which is visible on the page after you have made your purchase. You are automatically directed to the "Your Products" section.
- Generate the product key(s) for your domain(s) and after that you can download your product.
- Go to the "Personal info" page and setup your username and password for later use.
You don't need to sign in to this website when making a purchase. In that case your account will be automatically generated or updated based on the informaion you have used in PayPal. Authenticated users will receive new releases in their existing Flowplayer accounts.
Are there any other payment methods?

IMPORTANT: You should write your email address into the payment form's comment field as we will send download instructions to that address. This is guaranteed to happen within 2 business days after your payment has been received.

Are there any other costs?
NO. When you purchase the commercial license it is yours forever. There are no monthly fees or any other costs. You will also receive all bug fix releases for free.
Do the Commmercial and Multidomain licenses include updates?
Both the Commercial and Multidomain licenses include all bug-fix releases. New feature releases are not included, but upgrades are available.
Do you have educational or non-profit discounts?
YES. We offer a 25 % discount for educational institutions and non-profit organizations. The Commercial license is $ 70 and the Multidomain license is $ 295. In these cases we must make sure that you qualify. Please contact support@flowplayer.org with a direct link to your site and we will check it out. We don't like commercially oriented churches.
If you qualify, you are asked to deposit the sum directly to the PayPal account support@flowplayer.org and after that we will create your account together with the Commercial version. If you already have an account on our site, please indicate what your username is. We can help you with the payment process and the installation.
How to upgrade?
Just login to your account and go to the "Commercial licenses" section. You'll see payment buttons with a lower upgrade price. Bug-fix releases will be automatically available here if you have purchased a license.
What is a Support Item?
All paid licences grant you access to a personal support area directly with the Flowplayer team. Each Support Item guarantees that a problem you have will be solved. You can be sure that the player will be properly installed on your server and you can ask for more advanced help as well. You can supply URL's to your test environment without worrying that they will be publicly available.
You can also request help from the forums. It is free.
You can get support even though you don't have a license. You can also use our forums, but our support channel allows more personalized communication and the ability to exchange links without making them publicly available.
