IE8 Issue

I am having an issue with a player in IE8. On the first page load, everything works fine, but on subsequent page visits, Flowplayer shows only the spinner in the top left corner. If I empty the browser cache and try again, everything works fine. Odd, right? Firefox and Safari work fine.

I am using 3.1.3. I have tested in IE8 on XP, and someone else has confirmed the issue.

If you see anything I'm doing wrong, please let me know. I didn't want to post a bug report until I was sure that I didn't make an error somewhere.

I have having the exact same issue with IE 8 on XP and Vista. Firefox, Safari, opera and Chrome all work fine, it's just IE 8...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've tested it again, and can only get the exact issue duplicated on Windows XP. It appears to be an IE8 Cache issue, however it's only constant on one XP Pro System.

BTW, using flowplayer 3.1.5 (Commercial Edition).

I've tested it on other ie8's (on my vista box @ home) and the scenario doesn't duplicate.

It's an Odd issue with internet explorer, most definetly.

I've also discovered that one system was running flash player 9, and once I updated the player to flashplayer 10 It worked without issue.

Perhaps the Flowplayer team needs to make the newest releases flashplayer 9 compatible.
