YouTube, Vimeo as a source?

Posted: Jun 28, 2009

Hi,

New to this great forum - just found you today :)
I would like for guidance (Links in the forum) about using a source from Vimeo, YouTube or others and play it with the FlowPlayer.
Meaning taking a movie from YouTube without downloading it - just taking the link from YouTube paste it into the Flow Player and play it.
Same solution for Vimeo or others?

Thank you for the help,
Tom

Hi there, I have a youtube plugin available here

http://flowplayer.electroteque.org/youtube

However I've yet to get vimeo people to play nice and provide a similar API. I do have a version that play the files directly but is not legal so please check back regularly about that one.

Does it still give you access to all of flowplayers ability like playlists, knowing when the video ends, etc?

Also. 200 is pretty steep?
