Multiple audio tracks in MPEG-4 file

Posted: Oct 19, 2009

Hi,

I've got a video with 2 audio tracks (2 languages). Flowplayer plays the audio using the first audio track without any trouble, but I would like to add a control to select the other language track.

Can I do that with Flowplayer?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Did you manage this? I'm looking for the exact same thing - one video with multiple audio tracks.

1. Convert your movies to VOB (for example, by DVDFab)
2. Use HandBrake to convert the VIDEO_TS folder on a H.264 MKV file
Select the two audio tracks to be stored (for up to 2 audio tracks with the parking brake!)
Select the tracks without subtitles ("none ")
Select the format. MKV to the output file (default HandBrake to MP4)
Note that full HandBrake uses 100% of my four cores! Other applications using only one core!
3. VSRip used to extract all the subtitle tracks you want in the VOBs
You give as input VTS_01_0.IFO
Creates a pair of sub / idx subtitles that contains all topics
4. Use mkvmerge GUI to combine the sub / idx and MKV files together
Drag and drop the original MKV file and IDX file in the "input file"box
Mix and save it as a new MKV file (subtitles included)
