play track from playlist via url querystring

Posted: Feb 5, 2009

Hi guys,

I am currently playing around with flowplayer and loving it so far. Still trying to get my teeth in to it though (as I am a n00b). I wondered whether anyone could give me a gentle nudge in the right direction with regards to my following question?

Basically i have a scrolling playlist.

Everything works fine. Great.

I am wondering though how I would go about playing a certain video in the playlist by passing paramters in via a querystring?

So if for example I had 10 videos in my playlist and i visited the following url

www.example.com?video=4

Then the the 4th video would play?

I have an example url to show my current setup but I am not sure if I am allowed to post a link to it in this forum??

I am sure this is simple enough - but I have only just started playing around with jQuery etc so still finding my feet so apologies if this is obviuous and i have just overlooked something#

Thank you in advance

ps I have the url to my installation if that helps?

Hi,

I wondering why no one answering this kind of question. DOES Flowplayer really NOT support this type of video URL at all?

Thanks.
