Playing a pre-roll ad before every video

What is the best way to play a pre-roll ad before every video? I tried using the playlist method, and every other video on that list will play an ad and it will hide the playlist and disable the pause button.

However, a smart user will just click to the next active video on the playlist just as the current one they're watching is coming to a conclusion. Hence, they'll skip over the ad before it starts playing.

Is there a function I can use that will play an ad before showing the video any time someone chooses a video from the playlist?

Couldn't you just hide the playlist when the ad is playing?

If this is the internal playlist:

1) Ad (NOT visible on the public playlist)
2) Video (visible on the public playlist)
3) Ad (NOT visible on the public playlist)
4) Video (visible on the public playlist)

Let's say somebody is watching #2, which is an actual video. A smart user who doesn't want to watch #3 (the ad), could theoretically click on #4 when video #2 is just about done (let's say it has 5 seconds left).

See what I mean? Video #4 would then start playing right away, completely bypassing Video #3, the ad.

An alternatives _could_ be to have content relevant adds displayed during your video if you do not want to use a 3rd party add server plugin allready available see:http://www.flowplayer.org/documentation/events/

From what I remember all current add pre roll's are implemented as a flash plugin, I may be wrong.

May i know how you create the playlist but able to make the "Ad (NOT visible on the public playlist)" ???

Btw, have you resolve the problem because that is also my needs ?

My other questions :
Existing set-up :

* Ads-In or Pre-Roll (flv) --> Video Content (flv) --> Ads-Out or Post-Roll (flv)
* Using the force, I know that I can make people not be able to skip the Ads-In
* However, by the end of the Ads-Out or Post-Roll then came the REPLY Button.
* If I press the reply button, then it will only reply the Ads-Out or Post-Roll ONLY, since this is the last video played.

* How can I make the Reply button play the "Video Content (flv)" and ??? without the Pre-Roll or the Post Roll nromh Re-Played ?
