I've tried to get the same result as the example given here on the Flowplayer site.
Now my test video (of my dog) isn't as high quality, but it's an .mp4 H.264.
Test 1 - Using SimpleCDN
Test 2 - Using Amazon S3
They both have their good and bad points. The SimpleCDN version doesn't download - so after my users have watched once, subsequent viewings are still prone to delays as they move the seek bar around. This isn't the case for the Amazon hosted file, but it stops and starts so often that I don't suppose anyone will have the patience enough to watch it a second time.
Can anyone see any obvious mistakes I've made? Is this the best I can do with Amazon S3 alone or SimpleCDN + rtmp?
Liz
