Subtitle support

Posted: Dec 7, 2008

Hi!

When I discovered Flow Player I was amassed as when I have discovered MPlayer. Great software!

Also, I have one question/suggestion - is there a support for subtitle files? I think that's not big challenge for Flow Player.

Best regards,
JovAdam

not currently. the closest one to subtitles can be found here:

http://flowplayer.org/plugins/javascript/writing.html

the challenge is not big - just a matter of time.

Hello,

I have inserted subtitles in my flash video. Thank you for your comment.

But I can not set the autoPlay control of video to false. Does anyone know how to do it? I tried adding the following code into my plugin, but id did not work.

clip:
{
autoPlay: false,
}

You can see the website here:

PS. Flowplayer is a great tool. Thank you.

Thanks! I used the free version of Riva Encoder to convert it to FLV. I also sampled it at 6000 kbps! It's not as bad as it sounds, because the compression is very content-dependant, and it turns it into a smaller file size! :)
