Integrate with Existing Ad networks

Posted: Feb 5, 2010

In Future version we would like to see or as plugins integrate with Major Video Networks like Double Click Instream, YUMe , SpotXchange , Google Adwords, Tremor , ScanScout etc and a model to pick the ad based on the highest bid or revenue

this will help publishers generate revenue from existing ad networks , if you can add options to run own ads than 3rd party components it will be of great value for commercial websites

looking forward to see in future versions

thanks

ScanScout in-stream advertising

A new plugin for ScanScout is now available.

To me it sounds like the logic for picking up ads based on the highest bid or revenue is a server-side job. Does anyone know if there already is an advertising network or a ad server that does this?

Tremor Media publishers can do this by creating a Dynamic Ad Rotator in their Acudeo account.

Basically, you set up various ad sources, enter the eCPM you're getting from each and a pacing algorithm on our ad server will decide which ad to serve. This decision can be based on a number of factors, but you can optimize for CPM.

If your highest paying ad source is paced out, it will fail over to the second highest paying. If that's paced out, it'll go to the third source, etc.
