I'm a musician selling CDs online with a Wordpress site. I'm currently using a Wimpy player with some javascripting as seen at http://markmaxwellmusic.com/sax-music/angel-biscuit/ .
The key components in that implementation are:
1. No videos are played, only audio
2. Audio autostarts
3. Song changes when song title (in content section) is clicked
Unfortunately, the javascript request for the song change does not work correctly with IE7 and 8. Plus, Wimpy has non-existent support, which is totally unacceptable.
So I'm looking for something to replace the Wimpy player and I'm wondering if Flowplayer is it. I understand that it is much more than a simple mp3 player, but my question is this:
1. Will it do exactly what I'm doing with the Wimpy player and still work on all browsers?
Thanks for any help and advice in advance.
