Posted: Jan 30, 2009

Hey Guys,

Have you tried Flowplayer in MacOS? Using any control in my (MacOS Safari) flowplayer controlbar resets the video completely ie., I cannot use Volume change, full screen etc.,

Flowplayer version on my domain: 3.0.3
Mac OS -
System Version: Mac OS X 10.5.6 (9G55)
Kernel Version: Darwin 9.6.0

Please advise.

We have tested it with Safari on Mac. In fact I'm developing it on a Mac. Can you have a page on-line that demonstrates this problem?

Something is wrong in the player embedding because clicking anywhere in the player area seems to reload the player.

rocknation,

Thank you for your response. Your flowplayer is working fine even in MacOS safari. Are you using default settings??

Please advise.

Thanks!

Yes, I'm using the default settings. Compared to Firefox, though, Safari (Version 3.2) seems to drag a little. (I'm on a PPC G4 System OS 10.4.11 with 786 RAM.)

I'm experiencing your issue with my Mac. Could you update to the latest version of flowplayer. If that does not help could you make a standalone page where everything else than your flowplayer setup is stripped off. This way we can see what is the real culprit here.

This link works fine in Firefox 3 OS X

But the fullscreen button resets the video & sometimes the volume controller will reset the video if adjusted after the video is loaded in Safari 3.

I am having the exact same issues on Mac OS X Lion with Safari and Firefox. It works fine with Chrome.
