Stream not found, NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip: controls on Firefox 7

I am seeing a strange error on Firefox 7, not sure if it's a Flowplayer bug or Firefox bug. Flowplayer is trying to load a "canvas" file and "controls" file (the latter it tries to load repeatedly, over and over) from the same directory as the web page I'm viewing.

The error appears in flowplayer where the video should be playing, and also shows up on the firebug console:

[ERROR] 200, Stream not found, NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip: '[Clip] 'http://www.example.org/path/canvas''

This error appears (for me at least) on all the flowplayer demos, e.g.http://flowplayer.org/demos/installation/index.html etc.

Oops, I missed the Firefox version. Sorry about that. That's the beta. Right, let's hope it's a problem with FF beta. FF 6.0.2 works fine.

I'm at FF 7.0.1 now and cannot reproduce it.

Did you check whether Flash is installed properly?

I upgraded to the 64-bit Flash 11 and dumped nspluginwrapper and I can no longer reproduce the problem.

It also runs with 32bit Flash 10 here. I've never used nspluginwrapper, so I'm not sure how it would affect Firefox.

Problem appears here as well. Firefox 7.0.1 64bit, Flash-player 11 64-bit, Linux. Using all sites (including your demo-pages) that worked until lately now show the error.

Please reopen!

I just had this issue after upgrading Flash (10.3 -> 11) (Firefox 7.01/Linux)
I solved it deleting every Flash settings and cache.
You can do it using this link and going to the different tabs :http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

Thanks oll for this comment.. but I think that there are something more... I've clean my Flash cache (and reset settings) but it stills not working.

I've visited the flowplayers demos and I've the same issue.
* Firefox 7.01
* Flash 11.0.1.152
* GNU/Linux

@Christian, how can I generate any other usefull information?

FWIW, I cannot reproduce this on any of my 32bit FF 7.01 installs on 32bit WinXP and Flash 11.0.1. (32bit of course)...

Why is it marked at solved ? This is a really annoying, that all Linux users will have once they'll upgrade flash.

I use Ubuntu 11.10 64 bits with FireFox 7 and I have the same error message.

Note: On other systems (XP, W7 64 bits) I do not have problem to read videos under IE 9 and Firefox 7. Thank you.

In the demo section, I tried all the links. Below is the list of the functionnal videos on a Ubuntu 64 bits platform with FireFox:

Basics demo: link 4

Configuration demo: 7 (partially functionnal: starts to play video before displaying error message)

Commercial version demo: 5

Flash plugin demo: 5,6,7,8
and 9 with this error message: 200 : Error occured in a plugin: gatracker, Google Analytics account ID not specified. Look it up in your analytics accounts, the format is 'UA-XXXXXX-N'

But I'm now confused:
You right that all these demos are "functional" - do you mean they work, or did you mean disfunctional?
