Thanks for the very quick and clear reply.
I tried MP4 and the controls work.

But MP4 is 1.5x the size of the swf format.

What would be the most efficient format?

Dear other users and experts,

I've installed Flowplayer "succesfully" using javascript and can "manage"the controls appearance, but they don't seem to do their job.
Except for "Full SCreen" the various parts are disconnected from any action. seehttp://www.boland-devries.nl/testsite/why.htm
No start
No progress on the bar
No progress in the timer-counter
No mute
No volume control

What am I missing?

IE8-64 does show up with:
Flash version 9,0 or greater is required
You have no flash plugin installed
Click here to download lastes version

If I "Click Here" it downloads a plugin and runs Full screen in ..... Firefox! (which for the occasion I have not set as default, but choose IEinstead).

But if you run IE8 32 (which goes well on W7-64) all goes well.
