Problem with IE8 and JS PlayList Plugin

Posted: May 22, 2009

I have a question regarding this page within your site:

http://flowplayer.org/plugins/javascript/playlist.html

When viewed with IE8 everything works as expected. However when you visit the stand alone page (in IE8):

http://flowplayer.org/plugins/javascript/playlist-internal.htm

it is all messed up - video not lined up, play, and pause images for the playlist not displayed properly.

Basically, I am having the same issue on my end in addition to the buttons showing up a totally different color in IE than in FF.

I have spent MANY hours trying to figure this out. I have even tried pulling whatever code I could get from the page that was working on this site, but I still can't get it to display correctly.

Other that these "visual" errors, everything else is working perfectly.

Firefox is perfect all the way.

Can anyone advise me on what might be the issue here?

In regard to:

- create slideshow presentations with music background;

Is there a sample of how to do this somewhere?

I would like to have an mp3 playing in the background while a playlist of images rolls along. Just trying to figure out how to do it.
