looping with object

Posted: Aug 23, 2011

thanks, but the point is to be able to loop a video with the <object> embedd.

It would be nice if there was something like:
'loop':true

from everything I read on the forum this is not possible, is that right? I would like to loop this:

<object width="972" height="373" id="flowplayer" data=http://www.dentalwebsitedesign.biz/flowplayer/flowplayer.commercial-3.2.5.swf" bgcolor="#000000" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
<param name="movie" value=http://www.dentalwebsitedesign.biz/flowplayer/flowplayer.commercial-3.2.5.swf">
<param name="allowfullscreen" value="true">

</object>

Looping with

Posted: Aug 23, 2011

you really need to be able to loop a video with the <object> embed.

I use flowplayer to embed animations that are not always videos due to the ipad/iphone. instead of a Flash animation I export it out as a mp4. using the <object> it only plays once and there is no way to loop it.

please consider adding a loop to the <object>, it will open up your player to used in banners an ads that need to be looped that can also be embedded with <object>.

flowplayer doesnt work AOL 9.5

try using on <object></oject> embedding and it displays a white box when streaming a .flv file. It may also not diplay or files but have not tested that.

strange bug

cant figure out why the video player in the same exact file will not work when you open the home pagehttp://www.jacksonvilledentaloffice.com the page is saved as a default.htm (already tried index.html)

but if you go directly to the page

http://www.jacksonvilledentaloffice.com/default.htm

the videos works fine

I tried everything I can think of.

scrolling navigation and onclick

Posted: Nov 21, 2009

can you stop a video by using an onclick function?

I have a scrolling navigation with 15 videos and when you click on the image link it scrolls to the video and you can play it but when when you select another one of the videos, it scrolls to the video that was selected but the previous video is still playing in the background. If you play the next video, the prevous one stops but I would like it to stop playing from the moment the navigation is clicked.

please take a look at the web page and play a video and then select another video while the first one you played is still playing.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

» » Embedding videos with no control bar

Posted: Jun 16, 2009

sorry.. I wasn't 100% accurate with my post.

what I'm trying to do is embedd a video with the <object> tag. Like YouTube embedd function.

so I'm assuming that the coding would have to be in the <object> tag to control the options, if thats even possible.

thanks

Posted: Jun 16, 2009

can a video be embedded without the control bar and only have the Play image and only play if the image is clicked?

a link to a sample would be great if someone has already done this.

thanks for any help.
