If this is the internal playlist:
1) Ad (NOT visible on the public playlist)
2) Video (visible on the public playlist)
3) Ad (NOT visible on the public playlist)
4) Video (visible on the public playlist)
Let's say somebody is watching #2, which is an actual video. A smart user who doesn't want to watch #3 (the ad), could theoretically click on #4 when video #2 is just about done (let's say it has 5 seconds left).
See what I mean? Video #4 would then start playing right away, completely bypassing Video #3, the ad.
