Tooltip Displayed Behind Table

I am trying to use jQuery Tools Tooltip in conjunction with another jQuery plugin called DataTables http://datatables.net/examples/)

I am trying to have some of the cell items in the table have a mouseover tooltip using Tooltip. The problem is the tooltip is being drawn/displayed behind the table.

Is there a way to make the tooltip display on top of the table so that it is completely visible?

Have you tried setting a high z-index for the tip, like 9999?
