Form Exposure - Nothing happens, copied source 1:1

Posted: May 9, 2010

Hello everybody,

the code for form exposure just wonīt work with my page. I have the tabs/accordion functions working just fine so the link to the script archives should be ok.

After experiencing problems with z-indexed divs the first time trying i removed the z-indexes today hoping the functions would now work.

Problem is, it just doesnīt do anything. What i wanted to do was expose a form with class .expose as suggested in the demo and also did i leave everything else untouched. The functions are pointing to the right classes, etc. (checked twice, three times, four times). A week ago or so i still saw something happening as the screen went dark, etc. - the only trouble came from the z-indexing which i have removed now. But today i didnīt see anything happen, not even the wrong results. Could this have something to do with a new version of the tools?

kind regards,
Reinhard

Hello again,

problem solved - yes, it had something to do with the makeover and changes this project has gone through in recent days.

The trick was to just check the link - i only had part of the tools available from where i was linking to.

When i first tried the general link from the download section was fine, but things have changed a little. You just have to scroll down the download page until you get to the section where all possible combinations and their links are displayed. You can decide between just some of the tools, only the library, etc. - and you can link to the jquery library plus all of the tools - which solved the problem for me (plus removing z-indexing).

By the way, this is a great project and i am planning to use a lot of the tools on my site (currently and also would i be very satisfied to rely on it in the future). Great quality, thought through and very much appreciated.

kind regards,
Reinhard
