If the area you're trying to Expose is located within a div with an overflow property set to "auto" the expose characteristic will not work. Instead, the screen will become completely modal and nothing will expose.

This is a problem with IE6, IE7, and Firefox 2. Works fine in Firefox 3. Not sure about any other browser.
